| Associate Project Manager |
| Basic Job Function: |
Work as a client advocate on technology infrastructure projects and coordinate and lead project teams. Responsible as project lead to conduct discovery, analyze, develop design options and create budgets to present to clients. Must actively engage in management decisions and obtain client purchase orders as needed. Will lead project management, cutover responsibilities, project close out responsibilities, and communicate to client. Maintain responsibility for all final documentation presented to client. Work closely to keep other TELADATA staff informed about projects. Will manage multiple projects simultaneously and constantly re-prioritize workloads. This position provides the professional with a great opportunity for growth and a dynamic team environment. Project Managers are given increased responsibility as their skills increase. |

Review technology infrastructure project requirements and define scope of work |
| |
Interview client resources including telcom, datacom, and facilities staff in order to define corporate project objective and confirm scopes aligns with client objectives |

Identify/define project resources from all parties, i.e., client, TELADATA, and vendors |
| |
Review project technology infrastructure requirements for equipment and services including but not limited to voice/data station cabling; network equipment, PBX, computer, server cabling; campus cabling; conduit infrastructure; computer, server, IDF, data center, MPOE, NOC, and lab room planning; environment support that includes HVAC, fire suppression, power, monitoring, lighting and security |

Originate and analyze preliminary conceptual designs |

Create “For Construction” documents |

Manage build out of technology infrastructure design |

Coordinate and implement new services |

| Knowledge and Skills: |
Work experience in the design and construction process and interest in learning about design, renovation, and relocation of corporate clients. Candidates should come from one or more of the following backgrounds: B.S., B.A., P.E., or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction/Facilities Management, Information Technology, Architecture with a special interest in IT or Telecommunications, a related field, or service in the Military. Ability to organize, prioritize, and lead a project. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to learn skills required to lead a team of Project Management and Documentation professionals to ensure quality results for clients. Must have the ability to lead and manage client and vendor teams. Proficient with PC’s and Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Must be capable of interpreting technical instructions and be willing to learn new skills and tasks. Should have 2-5 years experience in the industry. |
| Level of Supervision: |
Reports to Project Principal for supervision to facilitate training and ensure strategic directions are met. Peer review required on all project plans, budgets, RFP’s and final documentation. Consults team on strategic decisions. |
